WHERE we do it
WILDLANDS INITIATIVES are holistic, seeking to integrate as many of our existing (and future) activities into cohesive, regionally focused interventions, underwriting a journey to a ‘Sustainable Future for All.’
Wildlands’ has established an extensive network of ‘Green-preneurs’ across four provinces; namely KwaZulu Natal, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and the Western Cape. We are educating, cleaning and greening communities while uplifting them in the process. Many of these communities are beginning to understand the importance of their surrounding ecosystems and the impact these ecosystems have on their livelihoods.
We are the Implementing Team for the Critical Ecosystems Partnership Fund in the Maputaland-Pondoland-Albany-Hotspot which has allowed us to expand our footprint into neighbouring countries such as Swaziland and Mozambique.
We are currently supporting the establishment of initiatives in over 10 districts throughout KwaZulu Natal and South Africa:
